19th December 2003 - Pooja was asked as a guest on the last ever show of Channel 4's RI:SE. She went live on the show with various
big
brother contestants, Ricardo from the Salon and Lemar.
18th December 2003 - Pooja appeared live on CBBC's Xchange with Joe Swash (Mickey).
29th October 2003 - Pooja attended an MTV base party at Tantra nightclub on Kingly Street. Parts of the show were broadcast on MTV's
base channel on sky.
28th October 2003 - Pooja went to the National Television Awards, which were broadcast live on ITV. Eastenders won Best Soap. She
then attended the after party.
23rd October 2003 - Pooja was invited to dinner at the Shezan restaurant in Knightsbridge for hunger awareness. Kingfisher World Curry Week
was an event to remember as they pulled out all the stops to ensure that an incredible amount was raised for the international charity Action Against Hunger. Pooja had a meal and then pulled a winning
raffle ticket. Pooja Shah (Eastenders), Saeed Jaffrey (formerly of Coronation Street and Lalita Ahmed (Canterbury Tales / Bollywood Queen) were just some of the celebrities who
attended some of the events and pledged their support for the charity
30th September 2003 - Pooja attended to Bad Boys II premiere at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square. A few other member of the cast
joined her. Will Smith also attended the premiere.
9th September 2003 -Pooja attended the Cineblitz magazine launch party at Bar Bollywood. Ameet Chana (Adi) and Dalip
Tahil (Dan) joined her. She was also joined by Archie Panjabi (East is East and Bend It Like Beckham) and Raj Ghatak (Sweetie in Bombay Dreams).
8th September 2003 - Pooja attended the launch party for Glamour magazine at the Tantra Nightclub on Kingly Street.
September 2nd 2003 - involved in the Greater London Authority launch 'Recycle for London', a new initiative to encourage Londoner's to
take action and start recycling everything they possibly
can.
16th August 2003 - Pooja did another live interview for The BBC Asian Network.
15 August 2003 - Helen Rollason Cancer Care Centre Appeal
Celebrities from TV and sport became telephone operators for the day in a bid to raise cash for the Helen Rollason Cancer Care Centre Appeal. Personalities including Alison Hammond of Big Brother fame and
more recently This Morning, the BBC'sJohn Craven, Rob Bonnet and EasterEnder's Pam St Clement (Pat Butcher), Christopher Parker (Spencer Moon), Pooja Shah
(Kareena), agreed to man the phones at the
11 88 88 call centre in Welwyn Garden City.
For every caller who got through to a celebrity on 15 August, the directory inquiries number donated 20p to the Appeal set up in memory of Helen who died of on 8 August 1999.
14th August 2003 - Pooja did a live interview on the radio for The BBC Asian Network.
13th July 2003 -Brent's Respect Festival was held at Roundwood Park, Harlesden, on Sunday 13th July 2003. Two stars of
Eastenders were among the 20,000 revellers who attended the festival.
Festival-goers were delighted to see Pooja Shah and Nabil Elouahabi, also known as Kareena Ferreira and Tariq Larousi in Eastenders.
28th June 2003 - Pooja flew off to Glasgow for a live appearance on The Saturday Show with Ameet Chana (Adi), Nabil Elouahabi
(Tariq) and Ray Panthaki (Ronny). On this show she had to have a contest against
Nabil and won a plastic trophy of which she is very proud.
18th June 2003 - Pooja was invited to Press Night of the musical 'We Will Rock You'. Fellow cast mates Shane Richie (Alfie
Moon) and Chris Parker (Spencer Moon) joined her.
12th June 2003 - Pooja with Ameet Chana (Adi) went onto Channel 4's RI:SE to do a live interview . The producer found out she
had been training in classical Indian dancing and embarrassed her by making her perform some of her moves live on air.
6th June 2003 - Pooja with Ameet Chana (Adi) had her first live interview on TV. They were invited on the ITV's This
Morning, Fern Briton and Philip Schofield hosted the show.
19th May 2003 - Pooja and the rest of the Ferreira's (Raji James (Ash), Ameet Chana (Adi), Nabil Elouahabi (Tariq), Ray Panthaki
(Ronny) and Dalip Tahil (Dan)) all attended a national press launch to
show the world who the Ferreira's are for the first time.
10th May 2003 - Pooja attended The Soap Awards but went as Chris Parker's (Spencer Moon) guest rather than with an invite
herself as the Ferreira's had not yet been seen on screen
